For A Cheap Experiance In Las Vegas, Would Excalibur Or Circus Circus Be A Better Deal?

My family is planning a trip to Vegas at the beginning of August. There will be 4 adults, one teen, and one older teen. We are looking for cheap places to stay on the Strip that have theming, and we've narrowed it down to Circus Circus and Excalibur.Circus circus has all the circus shows for free, plus the Adventuredome that's attached, but Excalibur is closer to the other hotels on the Strip. (we plan on visiting and walking around all the other casinos)Your opinions?
