What Do Video Games Do For Guys That They Come First?

Beryl-Porter, 2007-12-13 13:40:41
My last two boyfriends....really the only two I've had... keep getting so wrapped up in video games. My current boyfriend plays them almost non stop. He plays two on the computer downstairs...and while he's not on that one he has Castlevania running and he uses a glitch to level up while he's doing whatever else...which is usually playing whatever games he has on the computer upstairs. I just don't understand why guys put more importance in their video games than they do on me. I'm constantly thinking about him and making sure that he has the time he needs to be able to study for school...but I'm starting to just feel used because all of his free time is spent on video games. I wanted five minutes with him where we weren't doing something else but he said he was in a hurry because he had to shower. Well...as soon as he got out...he started playing his game again...and I'm sitting right there!!!He's in college...it's finals week....I'm on my period so I can't have sex with him...well...I could...but he's not too keen on the red wings. I am not nagging him...I'm making sure that he has EVERYTHING ELSE done so that he only has to concentrate on his school work but I feel used because he is studying while his health is refilling on the games. I JUST WANTED 5 MINUTES OF CUDDLE TIME WITH MY BOYFRIEND!!!

Sometimes he can be so involved in his games, that it angers me.... but only sometimes. I have to realize all of the hobbies that I do that take time away; blogging, practicing with makeup, drawing, knitting; even though video games may seem like they make your man very disconnected, really, it can be all things that make anyone seem disconnected. Video games may just be his favorite hobby, and unfortunately it happens to be a hobby that requires a lot of attention, unlike the things many of us girls do. :) But if you truly feel like he doesn't care, and is a jerk when you talk to him about it, that's when you threaten to leave! It works!
